Guide

Post a CapCut video to Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn at once

You cut it in CapCut. Then you export, upload to Instagram, upload to TikTok, upload to LinkedIn, rewrite the caption, and fix the cover. This guide covers the manual way, the scheduler way, and publishing the exported file from Multivio — and when each one makes sense.

CapCut ends at export

CapCut is an editor. When you export, you have a file, and publishing is a separate job. Posting that same video to Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn usually means:

  1. Getting the file onto the device or browser each app wants.
  2. Writing a caption per network. Instagram wants a hook. LinkedIn tolerates a longer caption. TikTok often wants burned-in captions.
  3. Setting a cover and checking the crop.
  4. Posting or scheduling in each app, one at a time.

Once a week, for one account, that is fine. Daily, or across several accounts, it becomes the bottleneck. CapCut changes export and share options by version. Check CapCut. This page does not describe CapCut’s interface.

Three ways to do it

Competitors change features and prices. Verify on each site before buying. Multivio does not claim CapCut’s editing depth or a scheduler’s analytics.

How it works

By hand

Export once, then upload and caption in each app

Scheduler

Export, upload to the scheduler, tweak per channel, queue

Multivio

Upload the exported file to the media library, attach it in Compose, draft a caption per network, then post now or schedule

Cost

By hand

Free (your time)

Scheduler

A scheduler plan. Some have free tiers — verify on each site

Multivio

Paid from day one, no free tier. Pro $20/mo (+50% credits first month); Creator+ $35/mo

Strengths

By hand

No new tool. Full control of each platform’s native options

Scheduler

Calendars, queues, and analytics on the scheduler — verify per tool

Multivio

One workspace for the finished file, a caption per network, and publish to the networks listed below. Paid plans include unlimited connected channels

Weak spots

By hand

Slow. Easy to forget a network. Captions drift

Scheduler

Two products and two logins. You still re-upload

Multivio

No free plan. Not a replacement for CapCut’s editor. Analytics are a dashboard, not a full scheduler suite

Best when

By hand

You post weekly, to one or two networks

Scheduler

You already have a scheduler you like

Multivio

You post video to several networks often and want the file, captions, and publish step in one workspace

How it works in Multivio

This is the path the product implements: library upload, Compose drafts with that media attached, then post now or schedule. It is not a claim that one click publishes an external file to three networks with no review.

  1. 1

    Export from CapCut

A vertical 9:16 file is the usual starting point for Reels and TikTok. CapCut’s export options change by version — check CapCut. This page does not describe CapCut’s interface. Check each network’s current length and format limits before you export. This page does not restate those limits.

  2. 2

Add the file to the media library

The library accepts uploads, including MP4, QuickTime, and WebM. The direct upload route rejects a file over 100 MB; larger files use the chunked uploader. Storage on paid plans is not capped in the plan limits.

  3. 3

    Open Compose and attach it

Compose drafts posts from media you attach, including a file already in the library. The media library can also open Compose with a file attached. Attaching a file is not the same as publishing it.

  4. 4

Pick the networks and adapt the captions

Choose among Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads. Compose writes a caption per destination (length and hashtags follow that network’s caption rules). On paid plans, that text is not charged as generation credits.

  5. 5

Preview, then post now or schedule

Review the draft, then post now or pick a time. Publishing does not run the credit deduction used for image and video generation.

What Multivio does not do here

  • It does not replace CapCut’s timeline, templates, or mobile editor. If you like cutting in CapCut, keep cutting there.
  • It is not a free scheduler. If you only need to queue files and a free tool is enough, use that.
  • Credits apply to AI image and video generation. Publishing the file you uploaded is not a generation.

Optional: Auto-Subtitle can take an upload or a library video and burn captions. Editor presets include Viral, CapCut Bold, Karaoke, Minimal, and Classic. If you already burn captions in CapCut, skip it.

Check before you post

Instagram (Reels)

Vertical framing and a cover. Put the hook in the first line. Hashtags belong in the caption, within Instagram’s current rules.

TikTok

Vertical framing helps. Burned-in captions help. Multivio asks TikTok for a direct video post. TikTok can still return an inbox status, which leaves the video in the TikTok app for you to finish. Check the result after you publish.

LinkedIn

A longer caption is usually a better fit. The connected account is either a personal profile or an organization page. Multivio rejects a LinkedIn video over 200 MB before upload, and only one video per post. Shape and length still depend on LinkedIn and the account type — check those before you export.

All

Each network changes length, size, and format. Multivio also enforces its own checks (TikTok video posts over 287 MB or 10 minutes are rejected). Those checks are not a promise of what the network will accept.

Networks Multivio publishes to: Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads.

Paid from day one — no free tier — so an account can publish from the first session. Credits pay for AI image and video generation. Cost varies by model and length.

Pro

$20/month

340 credits/month (510 first month)

Solo creators getting started

Creator+

$35/month

600 credits/month (900 first month)

Solo creators who outgrow Pro

Max is $60/mo. Team is $30/seat/mo with a 2-seat minimum. Annual billing is 20% off: Pro $16/mo, Creator+ $28/mo, Max $48/mo, Team $24/seat/mo.

If you only publish video you already edited, you are paying for the publishing workflow. Compare that with a free scheduler before you buy.

When Multivio is the wrong tool

  • You post a few times a week to one network. Post by hand.
  • A free scheduler already does what you need.
  • You want CapCut-level editing inside the same tool. Multivio does not claim that.

FAQ

Can I post one CapCut video to Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn?

You can export from CapCut, upload that file to the Multivio media library, attach it in Compose, and draft a post for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, each with its own caption. You then post now or schedule. It is not a single button that bypasses each network’s rules. TikTok may leave the video in your TikTok inbox for you to finish there. Check format and length limits before you post.

Does CapCut post to Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn for me?

CapCut is an editor. It exports a file. Publishing happens in the destination apps or in a separate tool. Check CapCut’s current export and share options, since they change by version.

What video format should I start with?

A vertical 9:16 export is the usual starting point for Reels and TikTok. Export presets include Instagram Reel, TikTok, and YouTube Short: they set a 9:16 aspect and show an advisory duration. They do not enforce the network’s limits. Check Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn before you export.

Is Multivio free to use for cross-posting?

No. Multivio is paid from day one, with no free tier and no free trial. Pro is $20 per month with 50% extra credits in the first month (510 credits). Cancel anytime. If a free scheduler already covers your volume, use that.

Which social networks can Multivio publish to?

Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads. Paid plans include unlimited connected channels.

Do I need credits to post a video I already edited?

Credits meter AI image and video generation. Publishing a post does not use that deduction. On paid plans, caption text is not charged as generation credits. Channels, storage, and scheduling are not capped on paid plans.

Do I still need CapCut if I use Multivio?

If you like cutting in CapCut, keep it. Multivio does not replace CapCut’s timeline, templates, or mobile editor. It covers the step after the export: the file, the per-network captions, and publish or schedule. Multivio also has a browser editor and AI generation if you want them.

Cut in CapCut. Publish the file without uploading it three times.
